Ladder Stitch Crocheted Dishcloth by Brian McGaunn The stitch I used for this cloth combines all of my favorite qualities for a dishcloth: The fabric is dense and absorbent, there is plenty of texture for scrubbing, it really takes advantage of the color changes of the variegated yarns, and it is quick and easy. Materials: 1 ball Peaches and Crème- sample is done in color #148, Shaded Blue H-8(5.0 mm) crochet hook -or the size you are comfortable with- the pattern looks best when the stitches are a bit tight. Stitches used: Ch- chain SC- single crochet DC- double crochet Pattern: pattern stitch can be worked over any multiple of 4 stitches. My cloth using 28 stitches is about 7" square.
